Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Elyxs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Who can use Elyxs
You must be 14 or older to use Elyxs. By creating an account, you confirm that you are. If you're under 19, please ask a parent or guardian before you buy a paid plan. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 14, we'll delete it.
Description of Service
Elyxs is an AI-powered language learning application that provides answers to language questions and automatically generates flashcards for spaced repetition learning. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it updated.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Elyxs for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to distribute spam or malware, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Fair use of answers
To keep the service available and reliable for every learner, each account can receive a limited number of answers in a week: 100 on Free, 150 on Lite, 350 on Plus and 800 on Pro. When you reach that limit, you can't ask new questions until the week resets; nothing extra is charged, and your cards, your reviews and the answers you already have are not affected. A week runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 24:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which is Monday 09:00 in Korea, and the counts reset at the same moment everywhere; the app shows the reset day in your time zone. Only questions that are answered count, whether typed, spoken, sent as a photo or tapped from a suggestion, in the app or its home-screen widget; a question that fails, or that our safety system declines, does not count, and neither does a question you ask through the Elyxs connector in another AI app. If your plan changes during a week, the new plan's limit applies from then on, and the answers you've already had that week count toward it. We may lower these numbers only when our costs or capacity require it; we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and on a paid plan a lower number applies only from your first renewal at least 30 days after we tell you, so you can cancel before it applies. The AI model that answers may vary from question to question.
Paid plans, renewal and refunds
Elyxs offers paid plans, billed monthly or yearly. Before you pay, the purchase screen shows each plan's price and what it includes. There's no free trial.
A paid plan starts as soon as payment completes. It renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. If a plan's price rises, we'll tell you before it applies, as the law requires, and your plan keeps its current price until then.
You can cancel at any time, the same way you subscribed: on the web, in Settings → Plan; for a purchase made in the App Store or Google Play, in your store's subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan stays until the end of the period you've paid for.
If you subscribed on the web, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any charge, even if you've used Elyxs, by writing to hello@elyxs.ai. We refund within 3 business days of your request, and your plan ends then. After 14 days, charges already made aren't refunded, but you keep your plan until the end of its period. Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own rules.
If you're under the age of adulthood where you live and buy a paid plan without a parent's or guardian's consent, you or your parent or guardian may be able to cancel that purchase under your local law.
Purchases made in the App Store or Google Play are also governed by Apple's or Google's terms.
For people in Korea: the 14 days above are your withdrawal period under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (longer than the Act's 7 days), and they apply even if you've used Elyxs. For a web subscription, we'll ask for your agreement at least 30 days before a higher price applies; for a purchase made in the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google tells you before a rise applies and asks for your agreement where it's required. If you're under 19 and bought a paid plan without your legal guardian's consent, you or your guardian can cancel the purchase.

Disclaimer of Warranties
Elyxs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our AI responses will be error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. Language learning results may vary.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loqu, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Elyxs.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Elyxs at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page with the date it applies. If a change affects your rights or what you pay, we'll also tell you in the app or by email before it applies: at least 7 days ahead, or at least 30 days ahead if the change is to your disadvantage. If you keep using Elyxs after a change applies, the updated Terms apply to you. If you don't agree, you can stop using Elyxs and delete your account at any time. A price rise for a paid plan follows “Paid plans, renewal and refunds” above, and you can cancel a paid plan as described there.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing in these Terms takes away protections your local consumer law gives you.
